The Best Children's Worship Music

There's lots of great children's worship music available, however I have put together a playlist and extra information on the best music to dance along to together and worship God.

Here is the best children's worship music playlist:

All of these songs are great fun to dance to and easy to pick up and sing along. This is the perfect playlist to introduce worship to children as it can be enjoyed at home, in the car, at church or at holidays clubs and schools. If you search on You Tube most of these songs have actions or dances that go with them, which are brilliant to learn.

The songs '66 Books, 1 Author' and 'Fruit Of The Spirit' are great songs to grow your child's knowledge of the bible. Where as most of the other songs listed on my playlist are perfect for worship, praise and learning about God's greatness.

At my church we love singing and dancing to all of these songs, in particular Doug Horley's music. This is because he has created fun actions and dance moves originating from sign language to support the worship and engage the children. Adults also love to join in because they can copy the actions, making these songs perfect for the children's section of the Sunday service. All you need to do is search on You Tube and join in. One of my favourite Doug Horley songs is 'Nothings Too Big, Big, Big For His Power' because it teaches children that God cares about everything, even the tiniest thing, which is a great lesson to learn through a song.

The Christian band Rend Collective has also just realised some new children's worship songs under the name Rend Co Kids which I would recommend looking into. One of my favourite Rend Collective songs is 'My Lighthouse' which has some great actions to get both adults and children involved.

Many people know Hillsong Kids which have some fun and uplifting songs such as 'Jesus Is My Superhero.' This is a great song for holiday clubs as its repetitive, catchy, simple and has great actions as well as a powerful message.

Also, Nick and Becky Drake from Worship for Everyone have released some wonderful and meaningful children's worship songs. They also lead family worship live every Wednesday and Saturday at 4pm on Facebook live where as a family they deliver meaningful messages and stories from the bible, sing songs and give shout outs. This is a fantastic option to online church that will include every member of your family.

Recently, I have also discovered Becky the Makaton Tutor who teaches sign language alongside worship songs. Makaton is a form of sign language that many children use to communicate or to aid their speech and language. Becky includes everyone; adults, children and those who are new to Makaton by making easy and fun to follow videos teaching sign to worship songs. She uses Makaton as a form of worship from signing to worship songs, Christmas carols, bible readings and the lords prayer. Making this not only a fun activity but a form of reflection that can be used at home, as an activity at church and a way to bring the whole congregation together, not only the children.

I hope you enjoy listening, singing and dancing to this list of the best children's worship music!
